Each time you purchase a $2.99 reusable Community Bag at the Winn-Dixie at 401 North Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans (Mid-City), during the month of June, we will receive a $1 donation.

Jackie Marks-Rollins Appointed to Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana

February 9, 2022 – Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana is proud to announce the addition of Jackie Marks-Rollins to the charity’s Board of Directors. A second-generation owner/operator and McDonald’s franchisee since 2015, she currently operates 4 restaurants in South Louisiana as part of a 10-restaurant family operation.

Teddy Bear Toss

Saturday, December 18th – 1pm
You are invited to come to the Tulane Basketball home game against Grambling State University. This game will be Tulane Basketball’s annual “Teddy Bear Toss Game”. Bring a stuffed animal (or 2) to this event to be thrown onto the court at halftime. Stuffed animals will be collected and donated to the Ronald McDonald House Organization!

RMHC-SLA and Children’s Hospital Celebrate Groundbreaking to Expand Family Housing on Children’s Hospital Campus

Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana and Children’s Hospital have broken ground on a $6 million project to renovate two buildings on the Children’s Hospital campus, creating a new family housing facility with 22 bedrooms with private bathrooms on the hospital campus. The jointly funded project will increase available accommodations for families by 47%, with an additional seven family guest rooms.
