Kilts for Kids campaign ‘pauses’ for now; will resume in fall
We’ve temporarily placed the Kilts for Kids campaign on ‘pause,” a little over one-third of the way to our $30,000 goal. Once things have gotten a little more ‘normal’ in New Orleans, we will reschedule the Kilts for Kids crowning party for a day in the fall. We will reopen the online giving portal at 504kilts.com about one month prior to the party. In the meantime, checks and online donations through our regular donation page at help.rmhc-sla.org will be gratefully accepted and will be added to your favorite team’s total. Just make sure that your team name is indicated in the notes section.
Please know that while Ronald McDonald House may be closed for the moment, we remain in close contact with our medical partners and are distributing restaurant/fast food gift cards to families whose children are in the hospital. There are babies in the NICU, and as you can expect the global pandemic adds worry to a new parent’s already stressful situation. When there’s a crisis, your support is even more essential, providing families with a sense of relief and stability in their already challenging lives.
