Join us for our 2019 Golf Classic on October 2 at Bayou Oaks
It’s not too late to register or become a sponsor for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana (RMHC-SLA) 2019 Golf Classic, being held on Wednesday, October 2, at Bayou Oaks South golf course, 1040 Filmore Avenue, in New Orleans City Park. All proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House New Orleans, a home away from home for families of ill or injured children needing medical treatment at nearby hospitals. Presenting sponsor is Children’s Hospital New Orleans.
“It’s fundraisers like our annual golf classic that allow us to provide free accommodations and transportation for families who live at least 25 miles outside of New Orleans,” said Cheryl Egan, board president of RMHC-SLA. “Many of our guests have other children in addition to their child receiving treatment, so the warm environment and volunteer-provided meals found at our Ronald McDonald House mean a lot to families during a difficult time.”
Activities for the golf classic include lunch starting at 11:30 a.m., prior to the 1:30 p.m. shotgun start, scramble format, with an awards dinner at 5:30 p.m. Sponsorship packages, ranging from $100 to $5,000 are available and depending on the level, include custom signage on the course, printed and online recognition, and other benefits.
All player packages include lunch, steak dinner, and unlimited beverages. Additional mulligans can be purchased for $20 each or two for $25. Golfers have four opportunities to win hole-in-one prizes that include a trip to the NBA Finals, Super Bowl, The Masters, and Pebble Beach Golf Package. Packages included airfare, hotel accommodations, and event tickets for two (one round of golf for two for PB package).
Additional sponsors include: Entergy, Whitman Family Foundation, associate sponsors; Martin Brower, TFG, LLC, gold sponsors; Bowling Law Firm, Coca Cola, Keurig Dr. Pepper, Hancock Whitney Bank, RTI, Storyville, TMG3 Inc, Valero Refining, Valluzzo Companies, team sponsors.
