Marianne Addy, Executive Director
Marianne joins the staff after nearly 20 years as the senior-level officer responsible for the positive image of Girl Scouts and its mission in southeast Louisiana. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a public relations concentration from the University of Texas at Austin. She and her husband Mark are the parents of four who are enjoying their empty nest in Mandeville.
Bob Van Den Akker, Community Engagement and Fundraising Manager
Bob has been actively involved with Ronald McDonald House for over 20 years and had previously served on its Board of Directors for 17 years. Bob transitioned to staff in 2019 bringing with him over 30 years of sales and marketing experience. Bob is a native of New Orleans and currently resides in Kenner with his wife Gloria.
Jennifer Wilson, Ph.D., Family Services and Programs Supervisor
Jennifer started as a volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House in early 2018 before becoming the Family Services Coordinator. Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, Jennifer lived in Brooklyn, NY for 10 years where she completed graduate degrees at Rutgers University and The New School for Social Research. She moved to New Orleans last year and lives in Mid-City with her wife Katy and their cat Blu.
Sierra Fisher, Family Services Coordinator
Sierra has been with Ronald McDonald House for six months. She’s a native of New Orleans. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, shopping and traveling.
Xiomara Mendoza, Housekeeper
Xiomara is a native of Honduras who has lived in the U.S. since 1992, and became a proud citizen in 2002. She worked in a variety of customer service fields before joining our staff in 2013. Xiomara works tirelessly to ensure the House is always clean and our rooms are spotless for incoming guests.
Krystal Citty, Family Services Associate
Krystal was born and raised in California’s East Bay Area. She graduated from California State University-East Bay in 2018 with a degree in Human Development, with an adolescent development option. She loves animals; enjoys traveling, meeting people and learning about new cultures. She currently lives in New Orleans.
Courtney White, Family Services Associate
A native of Virginia, Courtney is enjoying New Orleans, where she’s a graduate school at Southern University New Orleans, studying social work. When she’s not in grad school or studying, she’s interning at Mildred Osborne Charter School or working at RMHC-SLA. She likes to exercise and walk her dog Storm, a Chipin (Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher mix). She lives in Metairie.
Eugene Thibodaux, Morning Driver
Eugene is a life-long resident of New Orleans’ Westbank and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. After serving our country during tours of duty in Europe, he began a career at the Mobile Oil refinery in Chalmette. Now retired, Eugene has been our Morning Driver since July of 2014. He and his wife of 33 years, Paula, have three children and one grandson.
Charles Wright, Evening Driver
Charles is a New Orleans native, and presently a resident of the Westbank. He joined our staff as our Evening Driver in late 2013. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Charles served 3 years on a P-3 Orion maritime surveillance squad attached to the USS America.
