Corey Staehle, Executive Director
Corey has been with Ronald McDonald House Charities® of South Louisiana since 2002 when she started out as a volunteer and was hired as an administrative assistant the same year. As Executive Director, Corey brings in all of her experience and education to continue leading our House to the highest of standards. Steve Faure, Communications Manager
A New Orleans native and staff member since 2013, Steve brings his background in a variety of careers to his service at Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana. An avid photographer and self-taught technical enthusiast, he oversees the House IT and security infrastructure, and assists the executive director with marketing, development, social media, public relations, house operations, event planning, office administration, transportation and guest services as needed. Martin Huber, CFRE MBA, Director of Development
Martin J Huber, CFRE MBA holds a BS in Philosophy/Religion from Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. He has worked in the Non Profit Field for 15 years, has over 7 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit resource development, and is a 4 year AmeriCorps Alum. Martin is a Buckeye from Dayton, Ohio and came to Louisiana in December of 2005. Over the next ten years he specializing in disaster recovery by volunteering or working for many organizations. The majority of this time period he assisted the Beacon of Hope Resource Center, and the United Saints Recovery Project. Martin is under the strict supervision and care of a tuxedo cat named Dauphine, whose domain is in a shotgun house in the Leonidas Neighborhood of New Orleans. Helen Stone, Front Office Administrator
Helen is the longest-serving member of our staff, having joined RMHC-NOLA in 1989 as a part-time night manager. After a brief hiatus and retirement from her career with the State of Louisiana (as a social worker and parole officer), she returned full-time to the House in 2012. She holds a degree in music theory and sociology and earned her Masters degree in Sociology from LSU in 1980. She’s active in her synagogue’s choir and is a black belt karate student and occasional instructor. She began learning the martial art in 1976, and regularly participates in regional tournaments. Brooke Stewart, Programs and Volunteer Coordinator
Brooke is a native of Fairfield, OH. She earned Bachelor’s degree of Public Health from the University of Kentucky. She is currently attending Tulane’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine to obtain a Master of Public Health degree. She will be focusing on Program Management and International Health and Development. Brooke’s love for the RMHC began in 2015 when served as a house volunteer in Lexington, KY. Brooke currently lives in Metairie.
Xiomara Mendoza, Housekeeper
Xiomara is a native of Honduras who has lived in the U.S. since 1992, and became a proud citizen in 2002. She worked in a variety of customer service fields before joining our staff in 2013. Xiomara works tirelessly to ensure the House is always clean and our rooms are spotless for incoming guests.
Stephanie Cooke, Guest Services Agent
Stephanie is a native of Pontchatoula (“The Strawberry Capital of the World”) who moved to New Orleans in 2011 to attend the University of New Orleans, where she received her B.A. degree in 2015. She hopes to pursue a Master’s Degree in social work to fulfill her goal of working as an advocate and aid to immigrants coming into the United States. Steven Foley, Guest Services Agent
Steven Foley was born in Lancaster, Ohio and was adopted at the age of 15 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has four sisters, and five brothers, and 15 nieces and nephews combined. He earned his Associate of Arts & Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Education from The Ohio State University in May of 2017. In June of 2017, Steven began his Master’s of Science degree in Higher Education with a certificate in Leadership for Student Success from Walden University. He prides himself on his passion for diversity, inclusion, and multi-culturalism. Steven is dedicated to serving at-promise populations (low-income, minorities, females, LGBTQ, first-generation, ESL, veterans, etc.) to succeed in reaching their goals. Eugene Thibodeaux, Morning Driver
Eugene is a life-long resident of New Orleans’ Westbank and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. After serving our country during tours of duty in Europe, he began a career at the Mobile Oil refinery in Chalmette. Now retired, Eugene has been our Morning Driver since July of 2014. He and his wife of 33 years, Paula, have three children and one grandson.
Charles Wright, Evening Driver
Charles is a New Orleans native, and presently a resident of the Westbank. He joined our staff as our Evening Driver in late 2013. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Charles served 3 years on a P-3 Orion maritime surveillance squad attached to the USS America.
